Hi, My name is Santhakumar Rajasekar I’m working as a Lead DevSecOps & Platform Engineering Consultant based in Harrow, London, UK. I have over 25 years of experience (including 13+ years consulting through my limited company) leading large-scale cloud, platform, and DevSecOps transformations across SaaS, telecom, fintech, and enterprise sectors. My work focuses on On-prem, enterprise cloud / multi-cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP,IBM, Oracle), Kubernetes, Helm, Gitlab, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and security-driven modernization. I’ve helped global organizations migrate from on-prem monolithic architectures to cloud-native, microservices-based environments, and I’m still very hands-on with design and delivery. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between strategy and execution, driving automation, and mentoring high-performing engineering teams. I’m excited to connect with like-minded professionals and share insights around DevSecOps, platform engineering, and enterprise cloud transformation. 👋 Hey everyone, I’m Justin Eichenberger, Director of Platform Engineering at Care Lumen. I’m currently leading the effort to stand up a Platform Engineering organization in 2026, and I’m here to exchange ideas and learn from folks who’ve been doing this well. We’re shifting from distributed DevOps silos toward a more product-centric platform model to improve: • Developer experience and velocity • Governance and security at scale • Internal tooling consistency across 70+ apps & services I’d love to hear how others have approached: 🧰 Starting platform teams without over-centralizing ⚙️ Balancing consistency vs. developer autonomy 🚀 Securing early adoption and momentum 📈 Measuring platform success (beyond uptime) Looking forward to connecting and contributing! 🙌

Hello, community! I’m Michele I work as a software engineer at the Swiss National Supercomputing Center, where I focus on ensuring our platforms run smoothly through automation. Essentially, my job involves configuring specialised clusters and patiently helping users debug their issues when they inevitably shout, “It doesn’t work!” I’m here to connect, learn from those with more expertise in platform engineering, and share insights on taming complex distributed system configurations and troubleshooting. I’m always curious about what you’re working on, so let me know!

    Angelo Carbonaro

    11/13/2025, 10:26 PM
Hi Everyone, My name is Angelo and I am currently a Senior Cloud Engineer located in New Jersey, USA. I have been working the last 8 years at financial service companies specifically Vanguard and Fidelity Investments. At Vanguard I worked on and eventually became tech lead of their Open Account product platform team. At Fidelity I manage an internal developer platform that enables the rest of the company's engineers to work in AWS by providing things like AWS account management/provisioning/suspension, privileged production access, RBAC, identity provider configuration, etc. I also built a framework that allows for other platform teams to deploy resources/configurations across our fleet of nearly 2,000 AWS accounts. I also lead our disaster recovery initiative which allowed for an easy-cutover during the latest AWS outage and filled major gaps in the resiliency of our databases and services; pioneered a serverless API design that has been adopted by a dozen teams and growing across our org, and presented at enterprise events on the importance of acceptance/behavior testing. I believe the most important skill for an engineer to have is the ability to ask the right questions and I believe in fostering an engineering culture where my teammates feel safe and empowered to collaborate and make decisions. I am currently looking for my next role and to be honest it has me incredibly anxious. Just finding roles that seem worth applying to is a challenge. I have only had 1 phone screening so far and it was a terrible experience where the interviewer showed up 15 minutes late, skipped introductions and immediately began quizzing me on ECS which if he had bothered to read my resume would know I have limited experience of. It was disheartening and I could go on about the experience but the point is I am now getting really nervous about finding my next job. My network is relatively small as I have done a poor job networking outside of my organizations and so I am searching for likeminded individuals that might offer some guidance or friendship. Bonus points if you play Dota2. https://www.linkedin.com/in/angelo-carbonaro-a6142688/
