Hello everyone, I'm an aspiring startup founder 🙂, working with a few raspberry pi's at home, you can reach them at https://thedating.club (No DDOS pls). I previously worked for Fortanix as a DevOps Engineer, where some work involved using terraform to deploy an EKS instance and share the statefile between engineers. I already know the potential of platform engineering. I'm excited to learn more. 🙌

Hello, everyone! I'm Director of Enterprise Solutions at Indiana University. We recently realigned a number of siloed infrastructure teams into our Platforms team. We're looking to build out a platform that makes our stream-aligned development teams more productive. We don't want them to have to worry about infrastructure and hope to enable them to just focus on adding value to their products. I'm here to learn how others are accomplishing this. We've still got a lot of work to do.

Hello all, I am currently working at a technical product manager working on building an internal development platform for the department of health care services. As we are finalizing our GitOps and CI/CD standards and pipelines we are starting to shift to self service and starting our journey into golden paths and engineering standards using things like backstage. Happy to find this space, it's very exciting to see so many here!

Hi all, Tobias "Toby" Piyobol from Switzerland here. Whilst my employer is currently trying to make every IT person a DevOps engineer, I stumbled across an article on thenewstack.io which kind of confirmed my doubts with DevOps and has led me to this Slack group to learn more about platform engineering and hopefully is going to help me guide my employer to redirect from DevOps to Dev + Platform Engineering. Curious to see what I can learn, and hopefully at some point contribute, in/to this group. Already learned about Backstage here and eager to look into that 🙂 Thanks for having me 👍
