Hey folks 👋 💼 I’m an Exec Advisor with VMware Tanzu that helps leaders understand the business/process/culture changes needed to get value from technology. I was previously Head of Technology at Sky TV, where my teams built the vSphere, Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry platforms that underpin Sky’s television, broadband and mobile propositions across Europe. 📢 I’m a public speaker covering Platform Engineering, Platform-as-a-Product, App Modernisation and Digital Transformation. 🏡 I live with my wife, three boys, and various animals on a small-holding in Edinburgh, Scotland. ♥️ I enjoy sailing, scuba diving, cars (and more recently tractors). :chrome: You can find out more about me at https://bryanross.me/

    12/13/2022, 8:55 AM
G'day everyone, I'm Jonathan a PM at TriggerMesh (an open-source alternative to Amazon EventBridge). We have quite a lot of users that use TriggerMesh as part of their internal developer platforms. A DevOps-type role will capture events from sources like AWS/Azure/GCP services, or Kafka, or SaaS, and make it easy for internal developers to consume them with containers / functions / etc... Here is e.g. a recent example with ManoMano. Thats why I'm curious to join this community and hear about what you're all up to. Pleased to meet you and Happy Tuesday ✌️.

Hi all! I'm Roel, I work as a Solution Architect at SpronQ and as a consultant for Cycle to Accelerate in the Netherlands. My speciality in the company lies in infra, developer platforms, devops and operations. I love working in high-traffic contexts with a large exposure to the internet. I'm here to learn from you all, to stay up to date with the events in the world and maybe to ask a quesion left or right

Hi all, I’m Arjun Iyer (co-founder and CEO of Signadot). I used to work at AppDynamics earlier (we got acquired by Cisco) and led a large engineering team there. We felt the pain of not having a centralized Platform Engineering team earlier and I’m excited to join this community. I have quite a bit of experience and interest in Cloud Native technologies, Microservices, Kubernetes, Observability and Developer Productivity in general. Excited to participate in discussions that’ll help this community.

Hello folks 👋 I’m an Engineering Manager at Jack Henry. We’re focused on the community and regional financial institution market. I work with our *P*latform *I*nfrastructure *E*ngineering team (everybody loves PIE). Specifically we focus on core services in our infrastructure. We're at the outset of transforming how infrastructure is consumed and interacted with for the rest of our development teams across the organization. I was a Network Engineer for 14 years, but have been focused more on the people role within our Infra as Code teams for the past 5 years. 🏡 I live with my wife and 3 rambunctious young kiddos . ❤️ I enjoy early 80s Subarus 🚙, spending time in the woods 🌳, lots of reading 📖, and making up lengthy stories to tell my kids 🐉.

Hi Everyone! I’m Stefan. I’m a co-founder and head of growth at WunderGraph.com. Prior to WunderGraph, I was a full stack software engineer. WunderGraph is basically the Vercel for Backend. I’m here because someone sent me a blog post from Platform Engineering and I saw this quote
Developers should be able to deploy and run their apps and services end to end. "You build it, you run it". True DevOps.
and this resonated so much with me and our vision for WunderGraph. I am here to learn, help, get inspired, and contribute, to platform engineering Here are some links to some blog posts we wrote that I think you might find interesting! • https://wundergraph.com/blog/dev_without_ops_why_we_build_vercel_for_backend_the_infraless_cloud • https://wundergraph.com/blog/graphql_is_not_terraform
