Hi, Aly. Yep, I’m in Dallas, but I work remotely as a devops engineer for a company in the northeast that provides backup and disaster recovery. I’ve also worked mostly in ed tech and telecom. I’ve worked a little with k8s, but not in production… my specialty has been developer experience — pipelines, automation, dev environment configuration, reducing friction and pain. Are you active in any local user groups, meetups, etc? I used to go to DevOps Live in Plano, but COVID shut it down and it’s only just now trying to start back up. We resumed meeting in October, but took Nov and Dec off due to anticipated low attendance over holidays.

Good Morning Dallas Platform Engineers ! We had a very nice event yesterday in CNCF Dallas with 4 sessions about Platforms and Backstage .. Vendors like VMWare and CDW brought nice swag and food and we had very good time networking and chatting about our passion in Opensource, Kubernetes, CloudNative and Platforms.
