What is everyone using for their `Persistent Volumes` ?

<@U032ZF1SC3V>, nice! What type of nodes are you running? <@U02HN6QNA03> I'm using the Democratic-CSI to provision PV/PVCs for ISCSI (SSD) &amp; NFS (spinning rust) from a couple of ZFS pools served out of TrueNAS Core.

I have a mix of nodepools with arm (rasps and jetson nano) and amd64 (nuc and minipc from aliexpress)...

Nice : ) - I miss having a mix of arm &amp; x86 nodes! I'm only using rasps in the cluster right now. After I converted my NAS from 1 node of a 2U to an 8GB Zimaboard I didn't have a reason to be running that 2U. It was bittersweet because I loved that it saved on energy consumption but there went my in-cluster x86 based resources.

Sweet!  I'll have to check out Democratic-CSI!  Haven't heard of it yet.

After trying a few of the last gen like `Ceph` and `Gluster` I found Longhorn is awesomely stable.

Have you tried the CSI yet? How did it go? I haven't looked at Longhorn in awhile but it was pretty great for local disk when I checked it out. Early in my K8s journey I had a habit of scorching clusters, reviewing the destruction, resetting, and recreating. I'm a little impatient, so configs ended up in repos &amp; I started using automation to rebuild everything. Which allowed me to move the data that I care about out of the cluster. Since the clusters were stateless from a data perspective, failure &amp; recovery were way less painful.

I have a Turing Pi 2 sitting here and because compute modules are insanely expensive I don't have any to put in it. Someday the Turing RK1 modules will be available and I'm looking forward to trying in-cluster storage again. If that goes well hopefully I can use the majority of my external NAS volume for application &amp; CSI layer backups.

I haven't had a chance to play with Democratic-CSI yet.  Still rocking `Longhorn` without issue really.  Upgrades have gone cleanly and it's weathered power events with no major hiccups (although other areas did not :smile: ).
