Hi Anis, my humble opinion. It depends on what area you want to get into, and what role you envision taking. But if you're a beginner and want to stay on the executive end of things, I would strongly recommend some kind of "cloud for business leaders" cert to get started. Then pick any cloud provider and do their initial cert to get a feel of how the cloud is implemented. Then you can explore specific tech stacks or technologies. If you want to be more hands-on, I suggest starting with a Linux cert first, then some kind of networking cert, then get into the cool techs and cloud provider. Many people get straight into the cool techs but struggle because they don't have strong fundamentals.

Hi Ilyas, thanks for your answer and clarification. Really appreciate your time. Well, when I say Account Executive, I mean that I am more business oriented than tech oriented at the moment. I want to learn the basics so I can better understand potential customer needs in terms of observability, cloud, and DevOps to better help them.

I see. You will probably be dealing with one of the 3 major cloud providers, I think the fundamental cert in any of them (or all 3) should give you enough background to "speak" cloud and devops to stakeholders. It's good to see how different providers approach it. Check these out: • https://aws.amazon.com/certification/certified-cloud-practitioner/https://cloud.google.com/certification/cloud-digital-leaderhttps://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/azure-fundamentals/ There used to be something called "cloud+" which is similar but I can't find it anymore. Good luck!
