Hello, For next few months I am looking to supplement my temporarily scaled-down workhours with additional fully-remote (preferably <100h monthly) Kubernetes-centric projects. No I don't feel comfortable managing your O365 suite or everything-as-a-managed-service-from-AWS infrastructure. I am 32 years old with 5 years of DevOps experience backed by 4 years of backend Python development and another ~5 years of arch-linux-as-a-router-at-home experience. I am a tech enthusiast, believe self-hosting/Kubernetes as the (only? :P) cloud platform required and love automating stuff, at the same time I try to limit my computer-time to workhours (you could notice by number of my opened PRs on Github). 2 years ago (after 10 years of Arch Linux) I have switched to NixOS as my daily driver and never looked back. I have the most experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, Go and AWS cloud. I am heavily biased towards solutions I can read the code for and maybe even fix errors myself (as little propertiary tools as possible). As for my recent experience: in the last 5 months I have build the infra from ground up by myself using: • Terragrunt/Terraform and
terraform-provider-kustomization
• EKS (LB, EFS & EBS controllers, fully IRSA-based permissions), • NLB-backed Apisix Ingress, • OpenTelemetry stack feeding into Opensearch and Prometheus, • Netbird VPN (wireguard-backed) running on ECS and routed to multiple AWS accounts and regions • Argo Workflows: cached building of Maven projects and (rootless) container images for them • dabbling into https://devenv.sh/ for reusable development experience and CI/CD images building
