Thanks @Jim Park I will be providing a preview of the Product Platform Thinking required in the "Remediation" solutions within FinOps. While the problem identification and some minimal amount automated remediation is available today, most organizations we work with struggle to put together a holistic solution that can solve the FinOps problem not just for today but for future too. Since the PlatformCon is a 15 min talk it will be a high level overview. In some of the other upcoming conferences this Spring/Summer I will be going into lot more details about building these solutions as we see it

I am still learning, but from my own observations, gathering the requisite data to make informed decisions is only the beginning of the problem set!

Love this topic. I’m in the software delivery business - most of the teams I’m working with is looking to automate as much as possible, both detection and alerting (obv) but more frequently also spinning up and down resources depending on need.
