Personally, I think #platform-tech is mostly used for such marketing stuff (that's why I muted it 😉). I would also love to see this stuff limited to a single channel, to avoid being forced to scroll through all those posts while I'm mostly interested in the community discussions.

Hey Andre and Dirk, in the community guidelines I share with everyone when they join, it is specified that vendor-specific content should be limited to platform-tech. Still, for example, with PlatformCon approaching, we will use Platform-tech as a channel for discovering some of the talks. We message people and ask them to be mindful of their input, but it only happens sometimes. I will make sure to convey this more directly. Thank you for your feedback; 13 thousand people and counting, and it's getting more complicated to manage them all! 🙂
