Recently shared from some Shopify people on transitioning from microservices to a monolith. Colleague asked me if I really thought Microservices were falling out of favor. Especially curious since most of my work is tooling for microservices! It's funny, I've been sharing anti-microservice stuff for the last half a year because I think there's a more basic truth than 'monolith good, microservice bad:' each architecture has its application, and certain team configurations and scales will work better with one than the other.
