Anyone else watching the OpenTF stuff?

It'll be interesting to see what direction it goes. Will they try to match Terraform functionality as it evolves (like Centos for RedHat)?

Or will they take it in a different direction?

guess we have to wait and see if hashi caves in to the community, if not crossplane and cluster api it is

I believe their going to try and keep compatibility with the tf modules but there are quite a few pr that apparently hashicorp refused because it does not interest them enterprise product wise :shrug:

Maybe it will work out like MySQL and MariaDB. Time will tell.
