Not exactly relevant now but I’m doing some review of a book set to come out next year about exactly this topic. Can’t share much for now but I’ve enjoyed reading the chapters I’ve seen

Internal platforms in practice

is useful. As is

the magic of platforms

. If it helps, I wrote “Building A DX Team: Lessons Learned” a couple years back. It’s not 100% platform, but has flavours and overlaps. I also did an interview on DevXPod with my old boss where we talked about our journey. There’s a podcast my boss also did on getdx.com that digs into things things further. Happy to answer questions 🙏

Here’s a white-paper by CNCF on Platforms, building, scaling and measuring the success of the Platform Engineering. There’s another WIP whitepaper by CNCF WG Platforms on Platform Maturity Model to be released near to Kubecon in November.

Very Good! Thanks everyone for their collaboration. Now i have a lot of material to read.
This topic is very interesting, because I belive that we in the community think about discussing practice and engineering, but there is a lack of how to train people to take care of these practices.
