This doesn't answer your question but hope it helps your research in some way! I recently attended a free group webinar put on by Humanitec, where they did a hands-on demo you could participate in and see their product in action, by invite both in Github and their internal test site. (I'm not affiliated at all and attended for learning purposes about platform and deployment products). The way they presented was pretty effective; presenting common use cases and challenges one at a time, paired with live demonstrating of the product (as you follow along on your own account), showing how their product works to solve for both the platform team and developer team pain points. They showed examples of the ease of setting up and deploying to various envs as well as rolling back breaking changes, among other features. They also had a Q&A afterward to help understand better what would and would not work about their product for participants (eg specific needs, limitations). I found it super helpful experience for comparison to other products and gathered some additional points to consider. Caveat: I'm new to researching deployment platform products, but will look for other companies who use this no pressure hands-on method of product demo and hope to find this approach is a standard.
