Are you a passionate network engineer excited by the potential to make a difference to people's lives and mitigating the effects of climate change? If so, come and join us! We are recruiting for a permanent Network Product Engineer to provide a key role fundamental to the delivery of all IT services, learning, teaching and research at the University of Dundee, Scotland.

You will be responsible for the design and engineering of technical IT infrastructure, using either in house capabilities or external partners, relating to: 

• Campus Networking 
• Data Centre Networking 
• Wireless Networking 
• Firewall Services 
• Virtual Private Networking 
• Network Access Control Technologies 
• Monitoring and Analytic Tools 

Who we're looking for: 

Someone with significant experience in: 
• Computer network design, implementation and management 
• Supplier and partner relationship management 
And who: 
• thinks holistically to provide joined up solutions that integrate across the technology portfolio 
• enjoys problem solving in complex environments
