Agreed that it aligns really well! I did a talk on applying it to product management in platform teams that @Jennifer Riggins wrote up here if it helps: https://thenewstack.io/platform-engineering-demands-a-product-mindset/

I was about to ask if there was more info on it, so thanks Abby!

Mine is really only an intro, there is so much more to dive into!

Job stories for JTBD, like user stories for feature development - https://twitter.com/ParvSondhi/status/1691808034107093065

JTBD content always feels more like a “call to arms” than a practical guide. That said, Go listen to the Bob Moesta podcasts on Lennys podcast. Some of the more practical implementations of JTBD are in there. If I remember correctly he’s done 2 podcasts. Actually anything by Bob is amazing. As an aside this video on

field visits and the two questions to ask from David Travis

is 🥇 and the Udemy Course, from David is really incredible about giving a foundation in user research, how to do it, techniques and ideas. David really opened by eyes to lots of techniques that I now use every day as a product manager.

I love the jobs-to-be-done approach, we've taken some of that when discussing a product mindset to deciding what should be in the internal developer portal https://www.getport.io/blog/leveraging-product-management-strategies-for-your-developer-portal

thanks everyone 😄
@Roni Floman I really liked the article you linked
Just for a bit of background I have been listening to this audiobook https://www.amazon.com/Competing-Against-Luck-Innovation-Customer/dp/0062435612 It seems that Platform Engineering can be a flop or innovative and that book has helped me think more about how to be purposeful about innovation 😄
