New feature request, is it better if we add a
copyToClipboard
or
download
button along side the questions tab?? And auto-generate a sample response via openAI api?
s
we are releasing a new feature … where we take 2 inputs - resume & job description .. and ask more specific questions based on that. This is ready and we are stress testing this out this month … Regarding the download option or copy option, that’s a great feedback. We will get that added asap. I think it will be very helpful. Our larger goal is to build this into a smart ATS, and hopefully when we get there no one would have to copy/paste as everything will be in once central place.
c
That's existing! Hard to image you managed to build this up single handedly.

It’s a team effort, very small team today (I do everything backend AI infra, and I have some help on frontend) - hopefully we get to grow the team, help recruiters and employers, and create a name for ourselves in the process. Our main product is reference checks using AI. And we use resume scanner internally for our needs. We decided it is good to open it up to public and have them explore the tool.

this is neat! question, what do you do with the data? would hate to be a candidate and have my name / phone number / address make its way into some third party this way
s
Hey Dylan … we don’t store any data of the candidate today on our free product. But we store a vector embedding which we extract when the data is given to us, and this helps us create questions accordingly. The vector embedding are gibberish and cannot be used to recompute or bring back the data
We don’t have a mechanism to clear the vector embedding, but we will also remove that info as it’s useless to us or the candidate. The only reason to retain the embedding is because if the candidate uploads same resume twice we can recompute the embedding quicker

Looks awesome!
