I don’t think there is a need for an Internal Developer Community (neither Portal). It perfectly fit the Platform Engineering movement :D

Internal developers just need plarform with good experience and don't care if there is portal or community or other things 🙂 , while platform provider hope to connect platform users(internal developers) by portal or community .

@Romaric Philogène A UX (well reader experience) comment you might want to adopt. Since both terms are very similar and start with the same 2 words and the same letter in the 3rd and since people's (my) 🧠 are lazy unless reading very mindfully they will be read the same thing amd may find it confusing to differentiate between

Internal Developer Platform

and

Internal Developer Portal

. I suggest consistent color coding of the two terms in the post or highlighting the last word in each term (e.g. with bold fonts). This wakes the brain up a bit and makes it easier to be aware there is a difference.
