I never paid for LI premium up until the RIF, I signed up for a monthly one then as it made my list of “essential” tools for the upcoming job search,

I did the free trial, it allowed me to send one `InMail` that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise, and that one InMail resulted in getting through the robot screen and into a loop. Based on that I ponied up for 2 more moths at the discount of $20/month. I figure that's well worth it, but I'm hoping to not renew at the end of the 2 montsh.

Oh I had to do the standard subscription thing of "start the cancel workflow" to get the discount. At least there were no phone calls involved.
