I used to say "laughs in `VT_Remote`" at the RTO stuff, now it's getting closer to "cries in `VT_Remote`" with the number of full remote roles decreasing

Mostly a joke, plenty of full remote oppos out there still

Just not with Google or Meta (you know, the best salaries)

Bill told me, without telling me _directly_, that I wouldn't cut the mustard at Meta for a remote-friendly role. My assigned Google recruiter simply said "I wanted to let you know our remote roles are very limited at the moment."

Given my hit rate, I need to shift my targets down, not up, sadly

Look at it as an opportunity to decompress

You will be fine. The interview style and content can change for PE+ interviews.

You may find that for a given org you are exactly what they need …

Worst case - they say yes and you get paid more to learn on the job again :shrug:

I am interviewing with Home Depot for a Principal role, but their leveling is whacked out. Also still waiting to hear on next steps :pray:
