I wanted to surface Flux, company that uses AI to discover your code and then allows you to ask structured questions of that code to yield insight. Their initial hypothesis was to apply this to AI compliance: use AI to find the presence of AI in your codebase and then identify that which involves regulated data. They are still interested in that. But as they built their alpha, they realized that this approach is generalizable. They are discovering new use cases regularly, like: discover and generate summaries of code updates for Engineering management, or discover and inspect open source as part of an acquisition, and more. It’s early, and they have a lot of work to do. But the results so far are incredibly encouraging: there is a profound opportunity here. Flux is opening a free, friends and family alpha for GitHub (so that’s a hard requirement for now). For their part, simply getting access to production code to validate and improve their discovery capability would be really valuable. Even better would be engaged users asking questions of their code to help Flux identify killer use cases and improve them. If you’re interested, sign up and feel free to email Ted at ted@askflux.ai, and mention my name!!

Hey @Kleida that would be better suited to #platform-toolbox or #promotional-content and not in general, right? @Luca Galante your vote?

Definitely better for #promotional-content or #platform-toolbox. Thanks @Clemens Jütte, missed this
