I've worked on different aspects of API management platforms for many years. One thing that keeps coming up again and again over the last year is the framing of "platform as a product." That has a lot in common with the guidance of treating an "API as a product." thank you for this post - internal platforms in my experience almost never recognize there are no market forces and that they are a monopoly. I used to think of my role as a VP as someone that has to force a free market to exist through business incentives
