Greetings all. Was interested in engaging with the community here and sourcing knowledge for it. I notice we don't have many topical channels in this slack. @Luca Galante do you expect community members to create topical channels and continue discourse there? We are really beginning our journey internally and the innersource-styled IDP website was very useful to provide links to our teams in their vision and purpose articulations. We are working in our customized Backstage environment but there are many obstacles to overcome in the early days. Is anyone else in a similar stage? I was thinking it would be good to have a channel those who are currently in a similar sandbox / incubation situation

Hi Dave! Let's follow up at #idp-resources... I'm trying to see what tools and vendors would work together... or I guess #platform-toolbox. I kinda view "platform" in a holistic sense that includes human capital management (e.g. using analytics on developers to align in their upskilling), but IDPs are a specific outcome of platform engineering that involves automated cloud asset deployment, code deployment, testing generation and automation, etc. But I'm definitely on the same boat as you regarding solutions for IDP-incubation.
