2 use cases I have thought of: 1. Use as an independent orchestrator at least for infrastructure provisioning. 2. Build a controller wrapper around it and call it under the hood to provision your infrastructure retrieve necessary output from status and subsequently deploy dev application . (Better than just calling terraform apply) Since it  comes with all the goodies of gitops
