Just personally affected, not professionally. This morning my girlfriend was in the air from munich to berlin and the plane had to turn around and land back in Munich. After several more cancellations, she opted for the train, which fortunately wasn’t disrupted.

Extremely frustrating to see 300,000 passengers have no clue what just happened at Atlanta, Airport authorities are returning only half of the money back, some of my friends were stuck till 3:00 a.m. hoping this would be fixed ASAP, not a good scenes but a good reminder on how costly single point of failure can be.

I'm staying at a small Hyatt in Napa valley for the weekend, and their entire reservation and meal ticketing system is down due to this. wow.
