What ops metrics are you guys tracking right now? There are some constant nudges from our team leadership to adopt new metrics. Right now we measure throughput and uptime.

NGL, alarm bells are ringing in my head and red flags being raised! 🔺 🔔 First, assuming you could actually measure engineering efficiency, what would this enable your leadership team to do that they cannot do now? Secondly, why efficiency and not, say, quality? Which brings up a whole different set of questions. 🙂

@Marsh Gardiner , get the response to using the word ‘efficiency’ in the thread 🙂, we were thinking to adopt some metrics like deployment frequency and MTTR which we don’t right now, Wanted to benchmark on where we stand.
