Anyone use your own homebrew portal or something else other than spotify backstage?

I'm interested in learning about Backstage alternatives, because it's a great foundation but very complex to setup and customize for actual usage

Yes, and it seems like every plugin (at least the ones I'm interested in) require coding to actually use, like the Tech Radar and Cloud Costs plugins

I'll follow this thread. I've tried backstage 6months+ ago, and the necessary coding for basic configuration (imho) was a no go. Too steep of a learning curve for the skills in the team.
