Good Afternoon All! I hope this message finds you all well. I would like to get a suggestion, it would be great if you could guide me to route to the right group , it would be really helpful. During my job search I am a bit confused sometime I would fall under which category as I started my career as full stack developer in distributed Java technology before 17 years, I have experience in Solution Delivery, Integrations, Production Support operations, then recent in AWS cloud platform, Saas development, BigData technolgies and its maintenance etc. Now as I am in a temporary work permit. Should I have to focus on one area for applying for jobs and the corresponding preparartions or All the area like analysts (business/data) , developer (Java/ETL/Saas), technical manager (Agile) or architect (Cloud/data) which matches my skills and apply for it? Kindly any advise would be helpful for me to be focused and preparation. As of now, I am applying for all but would like to validate my understanding.

My suggestion would be to apply for roles in the role category (analyst, developer, architect, manager, etc.) you feel yourself the strongest in or that you have a strong call, passion to do.

You will have better success in the job hunt if you focus first on areas you are passionate in, or are your strong points. What is your career story? What are you looking for in a role?
