What future of AI holds 
We shall wait and watch, now that Chat-G promised to bring even better model.

My thoughts:

Deepseek is definitely really good. It’s clearly not as good as ChatGPT but to be that close, free, and open source is huge - and to have been trained for $5m compared to the $100m+ estimates we’ve seen for other AI.

It’s a huge game changer. It makes me think we’re much further down on the AI s-curve than expected.

However - was it actually trained for only 5m is the big question

There is this hidden race in the background that’s going to be super interesting. I feast on articles like <https://www.technologynetworks.com/applied-sciences/news/machine-learning-designs-materials-as-strong-as-steel-and-as-light-as-foam-395414|this one here> that describes how a small amount of AI has brought quite a leap in material science. :exploding_head:
The elephant in the room being, that if AI is able to bring these pattern improvements in material science, when will start to bring the same pattern improvements in chip design &amp; manufacturing? Because chips is what AI runs on and what’s going to be a deciding factor in it’s application.
There’s rhyme and reason behind the Nvidia stock losses because of the emergence of DeepSeek. The race in the background is on and yes, we can wait and watch how that comes out. :face_with_monocle:
