We are looking for 1. 1 x SRE/Observability Engineer (FULL time) - EST hours [FULL TIME] 2. 1 x DevOps Engineer [14 months contact) ---- NOTE: These two roles are 70% focused on legacy environments using an older stack, all hosted in AWS. A few years of hands-on experience with specific technologies is required—*candidates without this experience will not be considered. It applies for both SRE and DevOps positions*: • New Relic (metrics, APMs) • OpenSearch (Elastic Search)/Kibana • Azure CI/CD Pipelines (applications) • AWS ECS • AWS Lambda • AWS API GW • AWS ASG • MS SQL & PG • Windows Servers + IIS • .NET/.NET Core some sort of Dev experience is a bonus) • node.js • Python • Terraform/Terragrunt/Ansible/AWS CloudFormation ---- The automotive landscape and world are constantly changing, so we need a SRE/Observability Engineer who is continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect thousands of people daily. We are a team of tech experts who work on AWS-based SaaS solutions for the Automotive Industry. Automotive mobile data and analytics are the core of our business. As a SRE/Observability Engineer, you will have an opportunity to work in our growing Technology Operations Team (DevOps, SRE and DBA) team to ensure that our expansive suite of products are running optimally in our production environments, and that they are continuously being upgraded in the most efficient way. What We Need: • A hands-on SRE / DevOps with strong DevOps and Dev engineering capabilities to drive proactive analysis and improvements for our legacy One Platform. • Collaboration with QA teams and developers to gain a deeper understanding of the platform’s architecture and workflows. • Identification of opportunities to scale, fine-tune, and optimize based on traffic patterns, workload trends (yearly, monthly, weekly, peak hours), and system performance metrics. • Establishment of processes to analyze and document the state of the platform during all working hours (early EST to evening PST,), ensuring actionable insights are always available. • Creation of a knowledge base and training program to enable existing teams to continue these practices independently over time. What You’ll be Doing:Lead Deployment Strategy: Spearhead the development and execution of deployment strategies in collaboration with other DevOps team members, ensuring seamless and efficient software releases. • Deployment Optimization: Optimize deployment processes to minimize deployment downtime, reduce risk, and enhance efficiency in collaboration with the DevOps team. • Automation Champion: Identify and implement automation opportunities across deployment, monitoring, and incident management processes to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention. • Proactive Monitoring: Continuously monitor the stability and performance of our production environments, actively identifying potential issues and proactively addressing them to maintain optimal system health. • Daily Health Checks and QA Collaboration: Perform daily health checks and functionality testing of the main components of the system in close collaboration with our QA (Quality Assurance) team. This involves ensuring that critical system functionalities are operating as expected, promptly reporting any anomalies or issues, and working collaboratively to resolve them. • Incident Resolution: Participate in incident resolution by promptly diagnosing and resolving issues related to production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to our users. • On-call Support: Contribute to the on-call rotation schedule to provide for critical systems, ensuring quick response and resolution to any production incidents. -------------------- Please DM me only if your qualifications match the required experience listed above (see the list above - must have).

@Vladimir Natalenko I am very interested in SRE role. I have extensive experience setting up monitoring for on-prem and cloud infrastructure in NewRelic and other modern monitoring/Observability tools. I currently work in a small infrastructure team that handles workloads for 2000 .NET websites hosted on windows servers , IIS , Cloudflare. We also manage/support server infrastructure for our company’s hosted legacy software product. I have been on on-call rotations in all my roles and set up incident management process from scratch in this and past role.Please let me know when you some time and I am happy to go over my experiences, skills and career aspirations.
