Hi, is anyone here working or have experience working on Platform Engineering in the Finance Domain? I mean the typical HFTs, hedge-fund, etc. I wanted to know how different is the experience inside such companies v/s the product companies, etc.

Hey Shivam , based on my experience everything is more controlled , siloed and processed by approvals and security to maintain the flow and accountability of developments , PR-s , SR-s , meanwhile in a normal product company most of these checks are not in place. There is also big cultural shift of , you create it , run it, own it with the help of the tools from the platform team but if you do your own custom code then your team is alone in debugging issues "kind of".
