Hi All - I'm scratching around, looking for research about the ratios of Platform Engineers:Software Engineers. I've found a few indications here and there, but I'm curious as to whether any of you have seen anything?

My gut tells me, across an average organisation (and in aggregate)  1 Platform Engineer would support upwards of 8 of Software Engineers with a reasonably mature Platform approach, IDP, Applied DevEx etc. Does anyone fancy having a crack at throwing some stones at that?
