Hey everyone! I’m preparing for an upcoming Platform Engineering Internship interview at a bank, and I’d love to hear any advice or tips you might have, especially from those with experience in the banking or financial tech space. Specifically, I’m curious about: • What kind of technical questions I should expect (e.g., CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud architecture)? • What skills or tools are most valued in platform engineering roles at banks? I’m brushing up on topics like Infrastructure as Code, observability, and deployment automation, but would appreciate any guidance from the community Thanks in advance!

1. Architecture and design 2. Codewars.com / leetcode.com 3. common terms like Internal Developer Platform 4. Basic principles like “Why should there be a dedicated platform team?” 5. Ask chatGPT to do some interview prep. Feed it the JD and talk to it about where you want to improve. Not perfect, but not useless either.

@Luca Galante has a course that is an intro to PE on Udemy, which should cover all basics of an internship interview --> https://www.udemy.com/course/introduction-to-platform-engineering/?couponCode=ST18MT170625G2. It’s on sale for another day. Possibly Luca will find a ticket for you in his spending trousers 😉 For a deeper dive into devops tech, you could take a look at https://roadmap.sh/devops. Ben’s tips on leetcode and instrumenting ChatGPT to be your mentor are also great advice. Best of luck!
