07/21/2025, 6:26 PMHi everyone - I need your help! Tell me which name resonates more š For a dev tool product, basically an Internal Developer Platform you don't need to build yourself, that makes Kubernetes as easy as Heroku/Vercel/etc., without the limitations :)

07/22/2025, 9:39 AMIf you want to be an abstraction layer on top of k8s exclusively, then I would probably stay in the k8s universe with the naming and have some kind of nautic reference or play on words with it.
Both alternatives sound very generic - an issue I have with most product and company names nowadays - also the company I work for unravels the meaning behind the naming only after looking behind the curtain.

As for the category... Well, we're building something a bit different. Calling it PaaS is inaccurate - it's on your cloud, your k8s, with the tools you know and love - not a restricted "black box". Happy to give you a quick demo if you're interested :)
