I know platform engineering is a very broad term. All of our platforms look different. Feel different taste different smell different. But in terms of auditing your platform. Is this a thing? Is there any resource out there that has sort of a framework or baseline on auditing a given platform. like I said I know all of our platforms run different services, tools, and capabilities, but I’m just interested in hanging out with people have to say about that.

Interesting question, I think this would be so specific to unique industry standards. So for Banking or Healthcare you'd have much stricter auditing requirements on your platform than if you were just running a platform that never processed payments or PII. At the broadest you could probably just look at the something like ISO 27001 and go from there? I know Azure has a policy template you can apply that would review all the underlying infra against ISO standards but as for the wider platform I think you'd need something more custom
