Hey all 👋🏽 is there somebody who did the cncf platform engineering associate certification? I just learned about it today and was wondering if there is like an example cert to prepare for the real one 😅

Hey! I did the CNPA and it’s basically a sum of some topics covered on certs like PCA, OTCA, CBA, KCNA and CGOA, plus some other platform engineering materials from CNCF I’m not aware if there’s any specific material, but I know KodeKloud is developing a course for this certification

Ah nice, didnt know about kodekloud. Would you recommend doing the other certificates also?

Yeah, I did them and they are pretty good, but if your focus right now is on the CNPA, you don't actually need to pass the other certs to go for it, you will be asked about these tools and processes on a platform engineering view, but not as deep as you would be asked on the specific certs

The higher tier CNPE is coming any day I think. Hoping to take that once out of beta
