Hey folks. I work at the Walt Disney Company out of the UK, in a global team called Content Platforms Engineering. Content platforms is responsible for the media supply chain, connecting our studios where content is created, through to our distribution parters (including Disney+ and Hotstar) for consumption by our Guests. I'm more on the software engineering and architecture side than devops, and am here to keep up with the architectural thinking about platforms. At this time we're re-imagining (and replatforming) how all that plumbing works, and a couple of our architects are attending these sessions for inspiration.
