Hey folks - glad to be here! 🙂 I'm a UK based Director of Engineering, and one of my areas is Platform Engineering at my company Healx, that is looking to create treatments for those living with rare diseases. I mainly focus on the 'leading and amplifying' part of leading teams (you can see some of my thinking on my personal blog at https://terrybrown.me) , though I love the practical, security and architectural side of platform engineering. 🔧 My background is software engineering, though I've led platform teams in my previous few roles and continuing to grow and learn (though my team would say my terraform is still only average!). 🎯 My focus is on maximising developer experience for using the platform, something my team blogged about while I was at GSK (see here), and an approach my team are taking at Healx too.
