Hi @Rafa Alvarez and welcome! Would love to have a chat as we have built our own 'Platform' on top of AWS to help engineers deploy common patterns in AWS quicker. Would be interesting to know if what we have built and the vision we have for it is planned to become part of the base platform (AWS Proton) in the future i.e. our platform becomes a 'floating platform'

Hi @Andre Marcelo-Tanner Sorry that it took me so long to answer! I messed up my alerts on Slack and missed out this channel completely. Anyway, a quick summary of the problem that Proton is trying to solve is scaling up platform engineering teams. What we’ve learned is that platform engineers often times struggle to keep up with everything they need to do that goes beyond defining the “right” or “preferred” path for developers, such as keeping things updated, providing one-of support for teams, etc. The goal of Proton is that platform engineers can create a self-service experience for developers that allows them to deploy their services, allowing platform engineers to focus on the important decisions
