People using Backstage - when you have an internal website that has staging and production instances, do you model that as one or two catalog entities?

I have the same question. We have need to enable internal developers, partners and even customers to leverage and develop on our platform/s.

You can have an environment entity kind that represents each environment and reference these with relationships

FWIW a couple of people replied on the backstage discord, and one catalog entry is preferred. The tabs for the catalog entry would show info for different deployment environments if applicable.

@jpeach it depends on wether environment will be a node in the entity graph.
