Yes, we do. Each team has a Product Manager and Tech Lead. For platform teams we prefer PMs with more technical skills, though

our platform engineering team does not have a PM, although I personally do see the value in having one. Consensus amongst platform engineers on our team is that PM would just get in the way because the work is too technical. @Jelmer Borst @Haroon Rasheed im curious if you've heard similar pushback?

The PM needs some form of technical knowledge, for sure. At the same time, a lot of PM work also applies to platform teams. Talking to customers (other devs), discovery, etc.
