I would think that given they are also the customer, they would have the same problems as the other other customers.
If that’s not the case, then they are just like every other application team, unfortunately platform as a product is new, do we don't have a long history of product work in those teams - and this is a challenge for everyone
teach team product, get them to talk with other customers, feel their pain, get them to work for a sprint in a customer team
