I'd actually be interested in hearing from the community how their current team make up looks like. What does your PE team own and support within your org? Do you have SREs on your team? Does your PE own developer experience and tooling? What about cloud infra? Are those separate teams or one org?

I would be interested in similar points. My organization is looking to "lean in" on PE this year and I'd love to learn from the community.

I manage our PE team but it's gone through a couple of iterations and evolution. Curious where most folks have landed.

Great questions @Roberto Quezada. I'd also be interested to hear from the community! From the interviews I've done so far, PE teams seem to be quite diverse - how each team is made up is dependent on the context of the org and teams within in (eg. org size, engineering maturity, scale of software, etc). I'd love to hear about the evolution of your PE team (how it was initially structured versus how it's structured now?). If you're interested, you can sign up for a chat using the link above. Alternatively, you could tell me more about it in this thread 🙂

@Leonardo Romanato and @Dario Tranchitella, the Italian Platform Engineering meetup we are going to have is partially answering this question! Do you want to share your insight on these role in your orgs?

Hi! And thanks @Giulia Guizzardi for the introduction! You can find some of the information in a slide deck for a presentation I did last year: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zwjhacwkeusv3n3/Leonardo_Romanato_Journey_to_IDP.pdf?dl=0 If you are interested in discussing about it, feel free to ping me!
