Anyone knows a Slack bot that can help DevOps support developers? We get a lot of questions that can be solved with some snooping in company resources. If a slack bot can search the questions in Slack history/Confluence Documentation and suggest them to the developers before us it can save us a lot of time and teach them to investigate more. btw of course repetitive "how do I" and "I get this error message" may suggest problems in the DevOps Platform or its interface. We are working on the shift to better tooling but it takes time and even with ArgoCD developers face weird Helm outputs that "scares" them.

someone recently used openAI api to help teams create psql queries and run them, i can see similar technique being used here, tho it might take much more effort

I haven’t used them, but some sort of corporate or workplace search product like https://www.glean.com/ or https://www.dashworks.ai/?
unsure of slackbot capabilities…

Inkeep is a company in YC's W23 batch that is leveraging LLMs to index developer documentation. I think they also provide a Slackbot! Can connect you with the founders if you're interested 🙂

@Dolev Algam Hoping I’m not too late to the party, but did you find a slackbot for this? I think it’d be super useful. I used to work at an Open Source company (MariaDB) and they offered slack support to their devs as part of their premium offering. So it’d take burden off of the DevOps and DBA teams. I work for Akuity, the Enterprise Argo company (built by the authors of ArgoCD), there have been talks about offering something similar to what MariaDB offered. So, if this is of Interest, maybe we can learn a bit more about your use case and see if we can come up with the right offering for y’all. I think a slackbot would be ideal, but just wanted to share some food for thought.
