Now we are looking for Cloud Engineers that help us to improve our AWS-based cloud environment and the supporting tools. Because we have struggled with many dependencies between infrastructure and development teams in the past, we are now on the journey of adopting platform engineering. Our goal is to enable the development teams to take end-to-end ownership of their applications and give us, the cloud engineering team, the space to build a performant, reliable, secure, and cost-effective internal development platform and provide tooling that our developers benefit from. In our tech department we have colleagues from almost 20 nationalities from all over the world, which makes us the most diverse department in the Postcode Lottery Group with over 1500 employees. Although we are operating locally independently, collaboration with our sister lotteries in the Netherlands, UK, Sweden, and Norway, to align on technology and accelerate innovation, is becoming more and more important.
