I used to use Patroni (pretty good as for me) and RepMgr (wouldn’t recommend it because it requires a lot of manual effort). Another option you can take a look on CockroachDB which mimics PostgreSQL from UX perspective (but it has a different backend and implementation so if you want to have postgres extensions installed - it is not your option)

@Paul Rudnitskiy thanks Paul. Yeah, we do use Cockroachdb but we are trying out different solutions for Sync HA for some of our primaries
