Request for feedback on article about “champion building” - Hey folks. I’m working on an article to describe a pattern that I’m seeing to emerge as being successful for adopting developer tools, which I’m calling “*champion building”.* I’d be curious to get some extra perspectives from anyone who has done or seem similar patterns in their organisation to harden or deepen some of the points. 🙏

Hey @Lou Bichard - I’d be happy to help 🙂

You should be able to access the link above - try this. Feel free to comment away 🙂 There’s a section for contributor links at the bottom, feel free to add your name

Taking a look now 👍
Hey! I’ve added some comments, rather than editing any text. I’ll let you decide whether its worthy of a contributor link or not! If you want to discuss anything in more depth, give me a shout and we can jump on a Zoom call. My schedule is remarkably clear this week!
Disclaimer, I’ll have a blog article coming on Tanzu Blog in a few weeks on “Transformation Without Belief Is Waste” which will cover some of the same topics - why do transformations fail, introduce the Diffusion of Innovation theory, and then give some practical tips from Crossing the Chasm (Geoffrey Moore) and Drive (Daniel Pink) on how to motivate different groups of people.

Amazing contributions, Bryan! Thank you so much 🙂

Hey, you were kind enough to update. Add your own byline if you want, or I’ll grab something from LinkedIn.
> If you want to discuss anything in more depth, give me a shout and we can jump on a Zoom call. Always keen to chat platform if you want to throw something in my calendar. If you could do tomorrow or Wednesday that would be best, as then I can fold any thoughts into the article and get it shipped soon(er).

No issue at all, actually the opposite. Ping me and I’ll update a reference to it, also 🙂
@Ben Voss put out some interesting posts on similar topics recently, also.
