I know folks are processing so take your time to grieve, but a couple years ago I made a spreadsheet of 160 companies with info on their pay, work-life balance reviews, employee happiness, competitiveness (what percent of applicants are hired), interview difficulty ratings, etc. It is a pretty comprehensive list of major and minor tech companies and all of the data available on them. I made it two years ago so it needs to be updated with new players (OpenAI for example is not on the list). If anyone wants a link to that spreadsheet let me know.

Compensation info is for a SWE IC at my experience level 2 years ago since I made it 2 years ago for myself
I'd like to build data scrapers to update it lol but that's too much work
