I think this was the incident where a large group of users got their accounts flagged as hacked and were closed
so the solution was 'ignore it, they'll get an error and will have to reset their account' or 'fix it for every person'
always prioritize the customer
i am surprised we have culturally gotten to the point where that is even a question
this would never happen at Wayfair in the earlier stages
people got awards for being customer obsessed
