Other slack groups I’m in have a coffee style channel for show and tell, so.. that’s where my mind went, but I don’t know this space as well yet.

Idea is more for discussion and connecting. Otherwise it just ends up with vendors trying to pitch at each other all day
This community is quite valuable clearly for people so we get hammered a lot with people trying to sell stuff
Obv if you wanted to try and organise a coffee chat to show and tell some stuff, you can try in here - but i think you won’t have much luck as everyone in here is a bit tired of being hammered within the community by vendors

Yea, I hear you on not being hammered by vendors, that wasn’t the original intention. I was hoping there was a virtual space on where I could get feedback on a talk before submitting it to a conference like monitorama… like if I have a talk on what to look for in your data to make actionable alerts to help with the signal to noise but I’d like community feedback before submitting to the conference sort of deal to make sure folks resonate with it. I appreciate your response, thank you! I’ll keep searching if such a space exists online.

The coffee is a recurring discussion on various platform topics, you’re very welcome to join the next one. @Isaac Perez I believe can invite you.
For example I’m interested in preparing a discussion for a conference but would like some feedback on v0 sort of deal.
What’s the topic? There’s nothing stopping you sharing ideas here in slack beforehand to get some input? Then we can follow up in a coffee call if you want. As long as it provides value or is interesting to others on the call, any platform topic is okay.

No topic yet, just sort of seeing if it would be allowed. I'm thinking something around incident response, but, not flushed out yet. But thank you both for the response, I really appreciate it!
