John, the idea of the platform coffee is more of a lean coffee attendee-driven format. Everyone puts in topics and we vote on discussions and then they are time-bound.
a
Agreed David! But John the topic may be interesting for a webinar that @Luca Galante helps organise?

Thanks @Abby Bangser. You can submit here @John May - this is for the weekly community webinars on YT and Zoom. Just make sure it’s not just a sales pitch. https://platformengineering.typeform.com/to/LM5NfS2t?typeform-source=platformengineering.org

I will have our marketing team put something together. We do these types of "awareness of trends" type of presentations at events such as Kubecon all the time. They are definitely not a sales pitch.

👋 Hey John. I am a product manager for Gitpod, this topic is very much my area of speciality. If there’s anything we can do to collaborate, or I can help you, let me know 🙂
Is there a specific aspect you’re interested in? There are quite a few flavours of developing in the cloud, these days 😛
j
We are great friends with GitPod. We even did a blog post about using Okteto and GitPod that was authored by both companies. We could certainly try to do a presentation to show how people could leverage both tools
l
Ah, nice to meet you, John! Yeah, I’m a big Okteto fan, and have enjoyed many of Ramiro’s talks 🙂 Sorry you want to present - I misunderstood that context ! What Abby/Luca mentioned then makes most sense 🙂
j
I was thinking of having Ramiro present
l
The link I shared @John May is where you can submit a webinar idea. So long as it’s not just a sales pitch, and more like @Anirudh Ramanathan recent talk, then that’s probably something that could be organised
j
Definitely not a Sales pitch. This is more about evangelizing about trends
